In Florida, we did an amazing job! We made it to the quarter finals and were on the 7th seed for alliance selection. Everyone on the team did an amazing job from scouting to spirit to helping with the robot. We may have gone a bit crazy with the face paint but it showed how proud we were of our robot. It was an amazing season and we will continue to fundraise and beantown blitz will be coming up soon! Also to the girls on the team please return the uniforms if you havent done so, Thanks. Hello everyone! I hope we are all getting geared up for BOCA RATON! I also have made some slight changes to the website. I would like to get everyone on the team, including mentors, to write a little blur about what they do on the team or why they joined robotics in the first place. This information will go in the team bios page which is under construction as we speak.

Also the header for the website is brand new. The robot is a cartoon version of our own robot. The photograph used to create the robot was provided by Donna. If anyone has any suggestions on how to improve it or what else could be added let me know!

A small slideshow has been added to the right; more pictures will be posted there from now on. It is tiny but by clicking on the right hand button it will open up a full size slideshow. I will be updating it once we return from Boca. Anyone who has more photos of the team send them to my email at tiffanydsouza.2013@gmail.com

The cheerleading uniforms also came in earlier today so GIRLS, please stop by tomorrow. If not please let me know what size you would like me to take for you. We will discuss how we will transport them to Boca. They are loaned to us so it is important we are very responsible with the uniforms.

Spirit shopping will go on tomorrow after school. Anyone with any suggestions feel free to post on the Facebook wall. See you all tomorrow for a mandatory meeting.

What Students Should Bring:

  • Swimsuit (the hotel has a pool and we will be going to the beach)

We are having a team dinner on Wednesday March 28th, and Friday March 30th. Breakfast will be provided, but other meals/snacks students must pay for themselves.

We are taking a school bus on Wednesday, March 28th, to Logan Airport. On Sunday, April 1st, PARENTS MUST PICK UP THEIR CHILD FROM THE AIRPORT! Parents should be there by 12:30 and MUST go up to Mr. Herman, Mr. Kowalski, or Mr. Nycz and say that you are taking your child home. There will be NO BUS back to Norwell!

WPI was an amazing time because we showed off our team colors and screamed at the top of our lungs to support the team! It was amazing. This time, for Boca Raton, we are going to go even crazier. This time with mustaches, cheerleaders and basketball jerseys. I, (Tiffany), will be meeting with Mr. Fish sometime soon about the outfits. If everything goes well the girls and some daring guys will get the cheerleader uniforms and boost or spirit. If anyone has any ideas. Hello everybody!! Our team did an amazing job at WPI over the past weekend. We made it to the semifinals and beat the top alliance. All though we did not win we are all very proud of what we accomplished. We are looking forward to Boca Raton where hopefully we will do well. There will be a meeting on spirit ideas and suggestions in Herm's Room after school tuesday if anyone is interested.

Katie Joseph organized an amazing funraiser, UNOS Dough Raiser. The event took place on Feb 10th at the Hanover Pizzeria UNOS. It was an all day event and we raised $540! Thank you to all who attended and we are very grateful.
