How YOU Can Help!
Norwell Robotics is always looking assistance-in any way that you can offer! We could greatly benefit from any form of sponsorship or donation you can offer, whether it is a donation of money, your own time, or materials, we really do appreciate it all. Contact us at mark.herman@norwellschools.org.
Monetary
The most standard way to contribute to Norwell Robotics is through monetary donations. Big or small, we are need in any form of financial assistance you can offer. From paying for the basic kit of parts to construct our robot, competition fees, and additional materials and parts, going through just one season costs our team thousands of dollars. While we do fundraise as much as possible, monetary donations are very useful, no matter the amount, and will be utilized to their full advantage.
Your Time
While we do have a number of mentors, such as Norwell High School teachers and local engineers, we would love to have more! If you, or anyone you know, would like to volunteer some of their time to helping out the team, please contact us. We would especially be interested in mentors that could help shape up the business and fundraising part of the team, as at times in the past the team tends to overlook that aspect, getting caught up in the excitement of the technical side! However, any volunteers in any fields would definitely be a big help.
Materials
While this may not be a stereotypical sponsorship, it certainly is very useful and appreciated. If you have anything available for donation, such as spare tools, scrap metal, extra mechanical parts, or even spare machinery would be great additions to our resources. Even if you are not sure if we would be able to utilize your potential material donation, please contact us and ask anyways! You never know what we may need for build season and we would certainly appreciate your help. Additionally, we run a holiday raffle in December every year and a donation of a raffle prize would be another way great way to contribute to Norwell Robotics.
